Magical Jade of Guatemala

Jade is one of my favorite gem stones.
It is not only its amazing green color, but its magic.
Last September we travelled to Guatemala, the home of this amazing stone.

In the Mayan culture, Jade plays a very important role. It was considered divine and way more important than gold. The nobility wore jade ear plugs, pendants, necklaces, masks and wristbands. Kings even inserted jade chips in their teeth.

Jade was associated with fertility; with the green shoots of young corn plants, water and life. Jade beads were placed in the mouths of the dead along with ground corn so that the person would not starve physically or spiritually in his or her future life.   Rulers were buried wearing jade death masks, enabling the lords of the underworld to recognize them and treat them with honor.

Jade is also has spiritual power. It is said that whatever it touches that is going to be blessed. According to some other belives it is the ultimate "Dream Stone," revered in ancient cultures, as well as today, to access the spiritual world, gain insight into ritualistic knowledge, encourage creativity, and dream-solve.

Furthermore, it is considered to have healing power, as it has calming power.

Green Jade is a crystal of love. It is supportive of new love, and increases trustworthiness and fidelity. It also inspires love later in life.

In my latest collection I dedicate a special role to this beautiful stone, get one of them and test its magical power :)
